About me

I’m Alexis Elisa Macedo (she/her) I say my full name because it is worth every letter. I’m a versatile performer, tenacious playwright, & unapologetic Chicana Legend. I craft campy, imaginative, scrappy, paper playgrounds for my generational trauma breakers healing their inner child.

With my beautiful shade of brown and my ‘no sabo’ tongue, I’m breaking down the blueprint of traditional American theater, no longer accepting scraps from a table I “should be so lucky to be invited to. My tables are built with joy, and intentional invitation, and abundant enough to serve myself and everyone surrounding me.
